This little bakery is pumping out seriously good baked treats. Get there early is our best tip! Shaun and Willa Arantz have built up a little beauty in Racine, and although Willa’s is now pursuing her art in Orange, the little bakery continues to offer a gourmet selection of bread, pastries, and cakes that have earned Racine Bakery a place among our best bakeries in NSW. Specialties include their killer Rueben toasties, delicious twice baked croissants (try their hazelnut or lemon meringue) plus their famous sourdough bread, morning buns, fruit cakes, pies and sausage rolls with a cracking butter pastry, are all show-stoppers. In chilly months, locally grown delicious cauliflower soup has been added to their repertoire and it’s been a hit!
Racine say that “in tough times a bit of delicious pastry can make you feel like royalty.” And all we can say is “Racine, you truly deliver on that promise.”

10. Haydens Pies: Where Pies Speak Louder Than Words
Back in 2003, Hayden Bridger and his mum created a pie shop and today, Haydens Pies in Ulladulla, is a must-visit south coast destination, where innovation meets tradition. From their classic chunky beef pies to adventurous flavours like Thai green chicken curry, butter chicken, a sublime honey roasted pumpkin pie with spinach and feta, and roast mushroom pie with creamed spinach and goats cheese.
