SUSTAINABLE STAYS NSW | MYALL LAKES ECO RETREAT | FORESTS, BEACHES & BIRDLIFE

“Bombah Point Eco Cottages are lovely cottages surrounded by trees and bird calls, you feel pretty secluded and cosy here. The owners Lauren and Clint are super lovely and very accommodating, they even treated us to a nice bottle of wine and chocolates during our week-long stay! The facilities are great! A swimming pool, free pool table, tonnes of games and DVDs.”

THE EXPERIENCE at BOMBAH POINT ECO COTTAGES:

Welcome to Bombah Point Eco Cottages – an eco haven nestled between the wild heart of Myall Lakes National Park and the unspoilt coastline near Seal Rocks, just a few hours from Sydney.

Here, six handcrafted cottages sit lightly on 100 acres of pristine bushland, blending architectural design with sustainability and soul. Whether you’re here for a romantic escape, family adventure, wellness retreat, creative gathering and conferences. Bombah invites you to slow down and savour the quiet magic of nature.

For those arriving by bus, your hosts are happy to pick you up in town.

Bombah is a Licenced Premises
There’s a range of organic wines available in your Cottage and a selection of bottle beers on request. It’s also BYO.

Outdoor Adventures Await at Bombah Point Eco Cottages

From kayaking on Myall Lakes to surfing at Seal Rocks or whale watching from the lighthouse, each day holds a new path to explore. Hike through Mungo Brush, visit Dark Point, ride the trails, cast a line, or spot rare birds beneath the towering gums.

As night falls, gather fresh herbs from the permaculture garden, dine on local seafood, and stargaze beneath the clearest skies you’ve seen in years.

Stay Lightly, Live Deeply

Each cottage is designed for comfort, privacy, and a minimal environmental footprint. Most sleep five, one sleeps six, and there are options perfect for couples too. Think queen bedrooms, open-plan lofts, cosy log fires, and rainwater-fed spas – all immersed in bird-filled bushland.

Nature at Every Turn at Bombah Point Eco Cottages

Step straight into the National Park from your cottage. Paddle across mirror-like lakes, trek forest trails, mountain bike, fish, surf hidden beaches, or simply laze in a hammock. Wallabies at dusk, stars overhead – this is where nature holds you, not the other way around. And don’t overlook that as night falls, to stargaze into the pristine night sky.

Community & Connection

Explore communal facilities, pool, full kitchen with an expresso coffee maker (yes, freshly roasted coffee beans) and games room. There’s also a comprehensive library including, wildlife reference books, information on activities and walks in the local area, plus a collection of board games, DVD’s and CDs. Or, unwind with an on-site massage.

Families will love the trampoline, bikes and kayaks, bush discoveries, canoes, and gear for kids, while groups gather for barbecues, storytelling, and fireside evenings.

Don’t miss the chance to join creative workshops – from sourdough workshops and Aboriginal cultural experiences to woodwork sessions or massages under the trees,

There’s always something to spark curiosity.

Day trip to the lighthouse at Seal Rocks, spot whales in season, or explore the nearby villages of Bulahdelah and Hawks Nest. Learn to surf at Blueys, or SUP, or explore Mungo Brush.
