- Bushwalk or mountain bike to Grand Canyon Lookout, or lush rainforests in Moreton National Park

- Get your dancing shoes on at the annual BASH Festival (aka Buenos Aires in the Southern Highlands)
- Take a 1 km the Erith Coal Mine Walk. Start at the Gambell Car Park and picnic area on a very easy defined path. It’s not excessively steep via a walking platform. You’ll pass a waterfall (great after rains) and FYI the caves are barricaded
