Roadtrip around Pacific Palms – Finding Sun, Surf and Serenity

Road Trip Overview (Including Forster and Tuncurry):

  • Total Distance: Approx. 70–80 km (if you include the loop around Pacific Palms, Forster, Tuncurry, and the surrounding areas).
  • Drive Time: About 2–2.5 hours (without extended stops).
  • Suggested Duration: 1–2 full days, depending on how long you want to spend at each destination.

Roadtrip around Pacific Palms, and you’ll travel through a beautiful region on the North Coast NSW, Australia. It’s known for its stunning beaches, lakes, and natural beauty. Driving north from Sydney it’ll take about 3 -3.5 hours, depending on stops. For those that have done this for years, it becomes a pilgrimage to do a pitstop at Heatherbrae Pies just north of Newcastle (on your way home, we’d recommend a family cottage pie)! Heading from the north, say Brisbane, it’s about 7 to 7.5 hours, and add in pitstops – lots along the way – Yamba, Coff’s Harbour, Port Macquarie, Laurieton.

If you’re planning a road trip around Pacific Palms it’s an area on the mid-north coast that’s dotted with inlets, towns, villages and stunning ocean and inland waterways, forests with activities to match the most adventurous spirited or sublime fishing or girls getaways. You’ll be wanting accommodation and Travellarks has accommodation all along the way on the North Coast NSW.
