Linnaeus Farm by Linnaeus Collection ethos: When the present Owners first purchased the original farmhouse known as Linnaeus Farm in Berry, it was a powerful first impression. Over time, its blossomed into an ecosystem of getaways whose ethos, logos and pathos speak to respect for place. Linnaeus Farm is the original building and one of  delightful getaways for small to large group stays. The wider Linnaeus Collection today is a boutique selection of  accommodations on prime Southern Highlands land. Total capacity for guests in 2025 is 62 guests. by 2026 this will become 66 with another property added.

Your experience here will be a reminder of the sacred in the everyday. Being here is an invitation to connect deeply with oneself, your group of 10 guests under one roof at Linnaeus Farm.

You’re likely feel the same sense of wonder as its Owners who in 2019, purchased Linnaeus Farm. They drove through the front gates, experiencing a vision that has materialised today and become a five star Australian centrepiece. Further, the Linnaeus Collection currently can accommodate 62 guests, and in 2026 this will increase to 66 guests.

Dotted about the estate are more Linnaeus Collection’s properties such as: Moraea Farm (Sleeping 12 guests); Maple Cottages (2) sleeping 8 guests in each; Rubus Residences (3 properties) sleeping 8 guests each; The Suites (4) sleeping up to 4 guests each. In addition, Papillo (coming in 2026) will sleep 10 guests featuring excellent proximity to Berry.

A Botanical and Nature Philosophy Influence 

Set in landscaped and stone‑walled gardens, you’ll delight in the lush and meticulously designed olive grove, orchard and unrestrained nature which are a guiding ethos of respecting the land. It feels like you’ve arrived in Eden.  The curated garden philosophy is homage to Carl Linnaeus, a Swedish naturalist. He established botanical naming conventions of living organisms in the 18th Century. Designed into the facilities are a swimming pool, a heated yoga-meditation hut, and an outdoor games area, including a kid’s tree house. Brush up on your Boules skills with a game of Petanque or Bocce. Also, there’s an open fire pit and Jamie’s Barn, featuring an infrared-sauna and ice-bath in  for you to access.

Just when you thought that’s all, cast your eyes to the paddocks with Highland cows, goats, sheep, a chook pen – “Mmmm, fresh eggs” –  and a potting shed with a vegetable wash-down area.

Natural light streams into living and entertaining areas, an open-plan kitchen to whip up a feast. Alternatively, invite a guest chef to pamper you with a menu brimming with local produce from Berry’s speciality stores. Even better is dining, presently available for private functions and in 2026 will be open to the wider public.

The restaurant will feature a full commercial kitchen together with an outdoor Argentinian BBQ and woodfire pizza oven. In the meantime, guests can book private, exclusive use for functions in the restaurant facilities and the Linnaeus Collection crew will assist with arrangements. Here you’ll will dine on elegant marble tables, and a harmonious blend of sandstone and other natural materials used throughout. You can book for your special function or celebratory event via Linnaeus Collection before you arrive.

What’s more there are separate entertaining areas at Linnaeus Farm with an open-plan kitchen, living, two dining areas seating up to 16 people, again flooded with natural light. Dining options for 10 on the first floor, and 6 on the ground floor of the Farm. Five (5) beautiful bedrooms are matched with 3.5 luxury bathrooms or en suites exude unparalleled finishes with oversized rain shower heads. Then there’s a a deep free-standing bath in one of the luxury bathrooms.

In particular, the stars seem to shine brighter in Berry as you gather outside to ponder life, chat, share secrets, tells stories, laugh and smile whilst creating lasting memories against these joyous constellations in the sky.
