Seafusion, Blueys Beach: 10 steps from the sea. A thousand steps into light.
Seafusion Blueys Beach is where art meets ocean. Where salty air and sun-dappled mornings inspire brush strokes and bold thoughts. It’s where you and your friends can wake with the waves and spend your days with colour on your hands and sand between your toes, just like you did back then.
Ten barefoot steps to the sand and you’ll be on Blueys Beach. Seafusion is a haven for beach lovers and the creatively curious. It invites you to slow down, settle, and reconnect with the part of yourself that’s been quietly longing to create. To pick up a brush. To begin.
Built with heart by hosts Sally and Warwick, this is a place made for slow mornings, open skies, salt air, and the quiet joy of making something with your hands. Wonderful really. It’s where colour flows freely, time stretches gently, and the sea becomes a steady rhythm at your doorstep.
Thoughtful touches, warm welcome at Seafusion Blueys Beach
Seafusion, Blueys beach, welcomes you exactly as you are. There’s no pressure, no great expectations, just a quiet, deep contentment and a sense that something inside you is ready feel free. Sally’s seasonal hamper is just the beginning. It’s the generous gesture that sets the tone for your stay. Locals are lovely too.
The house sleeps eight, with four simple, comfortable bedrooms, and for Travellarks’ bookings, there’s a little extra sparkle – a bottle of bubbly to toast the sea, the sky, and the time you’ve given yourself.

Make and Stay: Art that moves with the tide
Make and Stay is SeaFusion’s signature. It’s an opportunity to experience the guidance of Trisha Fitzpatrick, local art legend and Sally’s mum. Trisha’s workshops are fluid, and warm, and where art is more than technique, it’s intuition, colour and connection. And no experience required, just a willingness to play.
Art retreats can be tailored to your group’s size and pace, and Sally and Warwick are the behind-the-scenes magic, helping you organise it all, from paint-out locations for artist groups to a 3 -hour fun paint and sip for all levels, thoughtful catering from local favourites like Moby’s can also be arranged. If your group is larger than 8, there’s additional accommodation just next door. How good!

And if you’d like to turn your stay into a full retreat, with meditation and yoga, that, too, can be woven into your days by the sea.

A Beach house with Soul at Seafusion Blueys Beach
Seafusion isn’t flashy, and that’s what makes it special. This 1970’s classic has all the hallmarks of an iconic Australian beach holiday: timber underfoot, sea breeze in your hair, and a wrap-around verandah that catches the light all day long.
It’s the kind of place made for bare feet and slow days, where you roll in from the beach, hang your towel on the railing, and settle into a rhythm that’s as relaxed as the decor. Thoughtfully refreshed but never overdone, the house still holds the laid-back charm of another time: open spaces, salty air, and that feeling of summer all year ’round.

Inside Seafusion: Calm Interiors, Endless Horizon
The minimalist coastal style inside at Seafusion Blueys Beach lets the setting speak. It’s not about perfection. It’s about the lifestyle. The kind where dinner is grilled on the BBQ, conversation flows as easily as the wine, and the sound of the sea filters into everything.
Upstairs, there are two generous decks to spread out on. There’s one for early sun and coffee, the other for sunset drinks and front row seats to the whale migration in season. It’s a space made for sketchbooks, long breakfasts, and golden-hour chats that linger well into the night. And the bonus is the beach track which leads you straight onto Bluey’s, so you’re never far from a salty swim, a sandy stroll, or inspiration if you’ve brought your journal or your paints.
Why Creatives Keep Coming Back
There’s something about Seafusion, Blueys beach accommodation, that speaks to creatives. Maybe it’s how the ocean air seems to clear the mental clutter, or it’s the soothing closeness of the sea. Ideas loosen to pick up a brush, open a journal, or simply let your mind wander to have a play with paint and to dream.
They come for the quiet, but stay for the freedom to create.
