Perched on elevated terrain overlooking Mount Pitt, each of the two villas offer breathtaking views without sacrificing privacy – a design choice meticulously crafted by Alex and Sarah. The layout, conceived as a seamless blend of open space and intimate corners, allows guests to enjoy panoramic vistas from multiple decks or retreat into serene interiors adorned with high-end furnishings.
From the outset, the project faced challenges typical o its idyllic, yet remote location. A 2.5-hour flight from Brisbane, Sydney or Auckland, New Zealand, and accessible otherwise only by sea, spiralling construction costs and logistical hurdles in sourcing materials added complexity. The result – villas that seamlessly integrate into Norfolk’s landscape.
Stepping inside, guests are greeted by contemporary interiors infused with local art, a nod to both luxury and the island’s rich cultural tapestry. Every detail, from plush mattresses to bespoke furniture curated for its WOW factor, that reflects Sarah and Alex’s commitment to creating a place of unmatched luxury and inviting interiors on Norfolk Island.
