HUON VALLEY ROMANTIC GETAWAY | BEYOND THE ORDINARY STAY | SHIO DININGÂ
“Where to start, wow what a hidden treasure is Cambridge House Geeveston, Tasmania! It’s a beautiful place to stay – amazing house with gorgeous rooms. Big rooms with amazing decor and furniture. Love that the rooms have ensuites. The B & B accommodation is owned by the loveliest family – Thana and Kaz you will ever meet. The second you walk into the house you have the warmest most genuine welcome. Highly recommend you have dinner in the lovely dining room that has an open fire crackling away. Don’t worry if you have children they have fire guards. The food is outstanding cooked by Chef Kaz and yes he is a Chef. Highly recommend you try The Degustation Japanese meal. Fantastic quality, mouth-watering food. He does offer Australian food if you prefer. Have to admit we loved the Japanese meal so didn’t try the Australian but 100% it will be so good. You will be really happy with the delicious breakfast in the morning after a really comfortable night’s sleep. Then you can walk in the garden and go down to the stream and watch the Platypuses swim. We walked away with a really warm happy feeling after staying at this gem of a place. It is a must to return again and again.”
